Chaitra Navratri

Hari OmDedicated to nine forms of  Goddess Durga, Chaitra navratri , like Sharad navratri is considered to be a nine day celebrations  for Hindu community around the world.Each of these nine forms or avatars are worshipped every day:  Maa Shailputri, Maa Brahmacharini, Maa Chandraghanta,  Maa Kushmanda,  Maa Skanda Mata,  Maa Katyayani,  Maa Kaalratri,  Maa Mahagauri and  Maa Siddhidatri.

This year Chaitra Navratri will be observed from April 2nd to April 11th. The festival will conclude on April 11th with the festival Ramnavami to mark the birth of Shree Ram on earth.

For the devotees of the mother divine, its considered beneficial to  perform homes and pujas to seek the blessings of the divine form of female energy (shakti).

At Shree Jagadguru Sannyas Ashram, the nine day long festivities, that will include Ghatasthapana, Chandi Path, Arti morning and evening,  Suhagan Puja on Panchami, ashtami havana the 8th day of Navratri

You are invited to take part in the pujas and homas  that will be offered at the Ashram.

The contribution is as follows:

  1.Daily Arti – 1100 Rs/ (morning and evening)

        2.Daily Chandi path – 2500/ Rs( for a day)

        3.Yajaman for the Chandipath – 51,000/ Rs

        4.Suhagan Puja – (Where married woman will be worshipped and gifts will be offered)-1100 Rs.

5.Kanya Puja – 11 girls will be fed and gifts offered – 1100/Rs

Ashtami Havan – 11,000/Rs
